The Plantrician Project

Founded in 2013, The Plantrician Project is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation dedicated to educating, equipping and empowering physicians, healthcare providers and other health influencers, with the evidence-based knowledge about the indisputable benefits of whole food, plant-based nutrition and its remarkable ability to prevent, suspend, and reverse chronic diseases. 

Our programs aim to address the urgent global health crisis caused by suboptimal diets high in ultra-processed and animal-based foods and low in fiber-rich, whole plant-based foods. The industrialized dietary eating pattern contributes to a range of common diseases and leading causes of death worldwide, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and many others.

•	Our premier annual Int’l Plant-Based Nutrition Healthcare Conference
•	Plantrician University, a free, evidence-based nutrition education platform for health profession students and faculty worldwide
•	The Health Equity & Lifestyle Project Conference in partnership with Healthy Heart Nation to explore health disparities and solutions in the African American Community
•	The Int’l Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention (IJDRP), our open-access peer-reviewed medical journal documenting the science of nutrition and lifestyle 
•	Plantrician Providers, a searchable, global directory and subscription program for clinicians and allied health professionals
•	Plant-Based Quick Start Guide, Pediatric Plant-Based Quick Start Guide, and an online cooking program, Culinary Rx, with Rouxbe Cooking School 
•	Regenerative Health program with Rodale Institute, bringing farmers and healthcare practitioners together

How to Play in 5 Easy Steps:


STEP 1: Download the ACLM Lifestyle Medicine app to your device.


Available for iOS or Android. Requires iOS 12.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Requires Android 6.0 and up.


STEP 2: Share your profile with attendees and exhibitors (required to play)



  • Access your attendee profile using the LM2023 app. Click “Settings”, scroll to the “User Properties” section. Once there, select “Edit my info”. Follow the on-screen steps, ensuring you select “Yes” to “Share your profile with attendees”. Hit “Finish” to complete the step.

  • Update your attendee preferences for the general conference, login into your registration account . Scroll down to the questions section and be sure you selected “Yes” to sharing your name and email with BOTH fellow attendees and event sponsors.


STEP 3: Visit participating exhibit booths in-person and/or online



  • From the conference app, select the scavenger hunt button.

  • Or look for and scan QR codes located within virtual exhibitor booths or at in-person booths.


STEP 4: Answer questions to earn points



  • Answer the multiple-choice question associated with each participating exhibitor to earn points.

  • Points earned for correct answers will be automatically tallied and top earners will be displayed on a live leaderboard throughout the Lifestyle Medicine 2023 conference.


STEP 5: Watch for the winner!


At the conclusion of the conference, one winner will be drawn from the group of attendees who earn the most points. Winner will be notified via email on or before Friday, November 10.
