Jaclyn Lewis Albin, MD, CCMS, DipABLM, FACLM, is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Public Health at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW). She is a certified culinary medicine specialist (CCMS) and a fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). She is the Inaugural Director of UTSW’s Culinary Medicine Program and co-developed the first Culinary Medicine (CM) Clinical Service Line, integrating interprofessional CM consults and group medical visits into patient care.
Dr. Albin also serves as Medical Director for Food as Medicine Innovation at the Center for Innovation and Value at Parkland Health, one of the largest county health and hospital systems in the United States. She will began serving as President of the American College of Culinary Medicine in September of 2026 to focus on advancing CM in medical education, community integration, research, and clinical strategy. She was recently appointed by the Governor to the Texas Nutrition Advisory Committee and serves as the Chair, informing statewide policy for nutrition education and dietary guidelines.
