Dr. Michelle Tollefson is a double board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Lifestyle Medicine, menopause certified through The Menopause Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. An international speaker and educator, she is dedicated to advancing evidence-based, practical approaches to women’s health, menopause, healthy aging, and lifestyle medicine across the lifespan.
Dr. Tollefson is an award-winning professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver and serves as lead faculty for both the Blue Zones Certification for Physicians and Health Professionals and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s Women’s Health Lifestyle Medicine curriculum. She is also Editor-in-Chief of Improving Women’s Health Across the Lifespan, co-author of multiple books, and a member of the PAVING the Path to Wellness Executive Board.
A breast cancer survivor, Dr. Tollefson brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, helping women and clinicians translate the science of lifestyle medicine into practical, compassionate, and sustainable strategies for lifelong health.
