Dr. Lacey is an Assistant Professor in Ambulatory Care at the Texas Tech University HSC JHH School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC SOP) on the Dallas/Fort Worth Campus. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from TTUHSC SOP as well as a concurrent Master of Business Administration through the dual degree program with Texas Tech University. She then completed a PGY1 residency at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas followed by a PGY2 Ambulatory Care specialty residency at the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS).
Currently, Dr. Lacey practices at the Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic within the VANTHCS. She primarily provides chronic disease state management for veterans under a scope of practice in the areas of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and tobacco cessation while serving as a preceptor for third and fourth year pharmacy students. For didactic teaching, she is a member of course teams for first through third year pharmacy students. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and a member of ACCP. Her research interests include lifestyle medicine and chronic disease state management, particularly in type 2 diabetes.
