As the national leader for Nutrition Services, Amanda Assaf oversees food services and clinical nutrition for all 43 Kaiser Permanente medical centers as well as medical office buildings and administrative buildings across the enterprise. She directs food brand strategy for the organization with a focus on sustainability, health guidelines, diverse suppliers, employee wellness and community benefit. Through collaboration with Greener by Default, Kaiser Permanente is working to lead efforts in sustainability and health. Amanda lives in Southern California where she enjoys spending time with family, cooking and staying active in the community.
