Ben is a family and lifestyle medicine physician interested in the re-emergence of primary care and societal wellness through clinic and system-level innovation and design. He founded and leads Lantern Health, a direct primary care (DPC) practice based in Asheville, NC where he still practices. He serves on the Steering Committee for the DPC Coalition, served as Head of DPC for Decent building affordable health plans for employers with DPC at the center, and led the design and development of a DPC practice within a fully integrated health system. He is driven to transform healthcare to work better for everyone. He is married with two children and enjoys seeking both adventure and balance alongside his family.
