Dr. Crystel Harb is board-certified through the American Osteopathic Association in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. She is also board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine and holds an M.P.H. in Epidemiology with a concentration in Global Health Promotion & Disease Prevention. She has authored her own Public Health Epidemiology textbook and developed several courses in contact tracing, global health, environmental science, public policy, and health behaviors that she has taught and earned the Merit Teaching Award for Outstanding Professional Faculty through the University of Texas at San Antonio.
She currently serves as the Director of Osteopathic Education and Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum as part of the core faculty at the TIGMER community-based family medicine residency program in San Antonio, TX. Additionally, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is currently on the Board of Directors for MedHab, a company whose primary goal is to empower both patients and healthcare providers with real-time data for chronic care management through innovative remote patient monitoring (RPM) technology.
