Dr. Sachdeva is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and musculoskeletal specialist currently practicing at ATI Physical Therapy in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is licensed in New York, Maryland, and Indiana, and brings over 16 years of diverse clinical experience across orthopedic outpatient clinics, neuro and orthopedic hospitals, intensive care units, nursing homes, cerebral palsy centers, wellness clinics, and home care settings.
Dr. Sachdeva holds a Bachelor of Physical Therapy and a Fellowship in Orthopedic Rehabilitation from India, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Preventive and Promotive Healthcare. He earned his Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Health and Rehabilitation from the University of Pittsburgh and his translational Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica University, New York. His clinical and academic focus centers on advancing rehabilitation through the integration of diagnostic and point-of-care technologies, including musculoskeletal ultrasound and electrodiagnostics. He is Registered in Musculoskeletal® sonography (RMSK®) through the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement and holds Point-of-Care Ultrasound (MSK) certification through the POCUS Certification Academy under Inteleos. Dr. Sachdeva is a Diplomate of Lifestyle Medicine (DipACLM) from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He is also trained in needle electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCV) and holds an international diploma in musculoskeletal dry needling.
Dr. Sachdeva has held leadership and management roles across multiple healthcare settings and is the founder and former Clinical & Managing Director of Blue Shield Health Center, a multispecialty clinic in New Delhi operating with a direct-access model. His interdisciplinary approach incorporates imaging, laboratory diagnostics, pulmonary function testing, and electrodiagnostics to enhance clinical decision-making in rehabilitation. An active educator, Dr. Sachdeva teaches diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound to DPT students, physical therapists, medical professionals, and sonographers. Currently teaching diagnostic ultrasound at the ATI Academy Orthopedic and Sports residency program. He is the current Chair of the Education Committee of the POCUS Certification Academy (Inteleos) and co-chair of the PT/OT member interest group of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
He regularly presents at state and national conferences, global webinars and podcasts on musculoskeletal ultrasound, imaging integration, and lifestyle medicine, and is passionate about advancing physical therapists as primary care providers through evidence-based, technology-enhanced clinical practice. Dr. Sachdeva is actively involved in scholarly writing in peer reviewed journals and professional media platforms like Healio and KevinMD on topics relataed to lifestyle medicine and diagnostic imaging in physical therapy. He has received Indiana state APTA recognition for distinguished service to the physical therapy profession. He serves as an editorial board member for the Global Journal of Orthopedics Research and as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy and Physiotherapy Theory and Practice.
