Dr. William Hsu is a seasoned physician executive with over two decades of experience in diabetes care and research. Since 2019, he has served as the Chief Medical Officer at L-Nutra, where he leads the Clinical Development team and oversees Medical and Scientific Affairs. He also founded the L-Nutra Health programs, focusing on advancing innovative approaches to diabetes remission and regression.
Before joining L-Nutra, Dr. Hsu spent over 20 years at Harvard's Joslin Diabetes Center, where he served as Vice President. In this role, he directed global and domestic healthcare advisory initiatives across 12 countries, collaborating with pharmaceutical and medical device companies as well as government agencies. A recognized thought leader in diabetes care, he contributed to the American Diabetes Association’s national guidelines, including the Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes and Position Statements.
Dr. Hsu’s research has focused on the pathophysiology of diabetes and the use of telehealth technology to manage chronic conditions. His work reflects a dedication to combining clinical innovation with patient-centered care.
Dr. Hsu earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed his internal medicine residency at Yale School of Medicine. He specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolism through a fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine.
