Monica Forquer, DrPH, MS is a Physical Activity Fellow in the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Monica is part of the team that leads the development of the Physical Activity Guidelines every ten years and steers initiatives such as the Move Your Way campaign and the National Youth Sports Strategy. Prior to her time at ODPHP, Monica developed, implemented, and evaluated national and international physical activity programs for underserved populations including youth, older adults, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. Monica is also a certified personal trainer and has promoted physical activity within her community as a coach, fitness instructor, and PE teacher.
