In this thought-provoking film screening and facilitated discussion, attendees will explore emerging global research on the decline in mental well-being among young adults and examine why some communities appear to foster stronger mind health than others. Through a lifestyle medicine lens, the session connects key research insights to the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—highlighting the foundational role of connectedness, social belonging, and collectivism in achieving whole-person health. Participants will examine how daily lifestyle patterns, social environments, and modern risk exposures influence mind health across patient populations, households, and communities. Drawing on both global research and lifestyle medicine principles, the session will translate insights into clinical relevance—equipping clinicians with practical, evidence-aligned strategies to strengthen social connection, promote resilience, and address root causes of declining well-being.
Attendees will leave both inspired and empowered with actionable approaches they can integrate into clinical care, personal routines, and community engagement to support sustainable, whole-person mind health.
